Founded in 2005, Gill Electric is the the vision of founder, Cody Gill.
Everyone needs a place to sleep. Though not everyone decides to build it themselves. Young adulthood and the promise of a family are arguably the largest motivators for any young man, large enough, even, to build a home single-handedly. Hanging sheet rock wasn't Cody's cup of tea, nor was plumbing. Though when it came to designing circuits and bringing power to this new Home, he found not only his passion, but business.
The theme of "build it myself" carried on throughout the rest of his young adulthood while maintaining the electrical infrastructure of Bemis Flexible Packaging's Longview plant. Though the dream remained quietly active under his cap. The DIY attitude is persistent and pervasive in the lives of those who have it, and it soon manifest itself in the early stages of Gill Electric. Humble beginnings would be an understatement, though through the hand of God, Gill Electric has continued to grow.
Having received Locals Love Us four years in a row, two of which placing first, it is clear that we maintain pride and dedication in all of our projects. Clearly, the public has noticed. There is no secret formula to this success, rather an internal desire to see the vision of Gill Electric realized on a day-to-day basis; treating each project as the first handshake. We pass our success on to our clients in the work we do, showcasing the manner in which we achieved it with every job completed.
